Frankly, I take the advice from Oppenheim ToyPortfolio. Every time I buy my granddaughters toys (without price in mind) I try and check out their recommendation. What is beneficial to the child’s growth and learning experience out weights cost or I GOT TO HAVE IT!! Abbe Buchanan

Personnaly, I rather buy a high tech toy that cost a little bit more than a low tech toy. The high tech toys will entertain the child more longer in my opinion.

If we follow your metaphor, shouldn’t the heat from the toy wars cause the opposite of shrinkage? After all it was a dip in the cold water that caused George’s problem.

I’m hoping those Jumbo Bunnies will drop down to $10… Unfortunately, since they are not normally sold in big box stores I don’t know how likely that is.

More and more I’m finding the toys I want for my son to be stuff that can’t be found in the traditional stores.

Though yes, I’m still tempted when browsing the aisles.
